Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes the conditions under which Keyvity e.U., operating as ReportLayer, will issue refunds for paid subscriptions. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to this policy.

1. Free Plan

ReportLayer offers a permanent free plan that allows you to manage up to three clients at no charge and with no time limit. We encourage you to use the free plan to evaluate the Service before upgrading. No payment is required to access the free plan, so no refunds apply.

2. Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. When you upgrade to a paid plan, you are charged immediately for the first billing period. Subsequent charges occur automatically at the start of each renewal period.

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment for any paid plan. If you are unsatisfied with the Service within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, contact us at hello@reportlayer.io and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

Outside of the 14-day window, refunds are not automatically granted. However, we review refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:

  • A billing error occurred on our end (e.g., you were charged after cancelling).
  • The Service experienced significant, documented downtime or data loss that materially affected your use during the billing period.
  • You were charged for a renewal after clearly attempting to cancel, due to a technical fault in our cancellation flow.

We do not issue refunds for:

  • Partial months — subscriptions are billed in full monthly increments and access continues through the end of the paid period regardless of cancellation.
  • Failure to use the Service — simply not logging in or not using features during a billing period does not constitute grounds for a refund.
  • Change of mind after the 14-day window has passed.
  • Renewals that were not cancelled before the renewal date, unless a technical fault can be demonstrated.

4. How to Request a Refund

Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, who acts as the merchant of record for all ReportLayer subscriptions. When you subscribe, you enter a direct payment relationship with LemonSqueezy, and your invoice is issued by them.

You may request a refund in either of two ways:

  • Through us: Email hello@reportlayer.io with the subject line "Refund Request", the email address on your account, the date of the charge, and a brief reason. We will process the refund via LemonSqueezy within 3 business days of approval.
  • Through LemonSqueezy: Contact LemonSqueezy support directly at lemonsqueezy.com/help or via your order confirmation email. As merchant of record, they are also authorised to issue refunds under their own policies.

Approved refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing settings, or directly through the LemonSqueezy customer portal. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain full access until that date. Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period unless you are within the 14-day window described above.

6. EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. However, by accessing and using the Service immediately after subscribing, you expressly consent to the commencement of service delivery before the withdrawal period expires, and you acknowledge that this may affect your right of withdrawal to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.
